Post: (1) After taking the holiday weekend off, and I
frustrating morning looking for a job, it's time to get back to
it & re energize, re focus & continue on my path to a
better me. It'll be good to clear my head too. #Biking #FitDontQuit
#FightForIt (2) Today's #Biking adventure turned out to be more
than expected. It started out with the usual local spots but also
branched out into some new territories of Washington Township.
At one point even ran into @katethegreat256 & #Dude so stopped
and chatted for a bit. In all just over 21 miles today. Not a
bad way to start back on the road work. Working on the Blog update
now. It'll be up tonight. #FightForIt #FitDontQuit
The Ride: Start off following the Yellow Line (section
3) on Melrose, turn right onto Woodland and take that to the Gloucester
Township Health and Fitness Trail. Make a left on the trail and
follow it to Linden Street. Make a right onto Central Ave and
then right onto Woodbury Turnersville Road. Continue (section
2) to Barnsboro Road, Follow until it merges with West Church
Street. Make a left to return to the Gloucester Township Health
and Fitness Trail. Follow the trail (section 1) until the end
at Landing Road.
Turn around and now follow the Blue Line (section 1) back to
Church Street (section 2). Turn Left on Church and continue to
Erial Road where you turn right. Make a right onto Douglas Avenue,
left onto Argyle Ave and a right onto Davistown Road. Make a right
onto Lehigh Avenue, right on Fairmount and left onto State. Turn
left on Cresmont, right onto Carol and left on Adrienne. Make
a left on East Lake and follow to the Blackhorse Pike. Turn right
on the Pike and left back onto Church Street. Mak a left back
on to the Gloucester Township Health and Fitness Trail. Follow
to Marshall Avenue and make a left. Turn right back onto the Blackhorse
Pike. Make a right onto Elaine Avenue and left onto Linda Avenue.
Now (section 3) turn left on Barbara Lane and follow the Gloucester
Township Health and Fitness Trail back to Woodland Avenue where
you turn right and left onto Melrose.
At this point, I wanted to do more so now follow the red line
starting in (section 3). Down Woodland and left back onto the
Gloucester Township Health and Fitness Trail. Just like before,
follow to Linden Street, turn right onto Central and then right
onto Woodbury Turnersville Road. Make a right onto Wilson Road.
Now on (section 4) turn left onto Bryant Road and then bare left
onto Forrest Drive. Make a left onto Cambridge Drive and a left
onto Shoppers Lane. I went about half way up the road into the
shopping center then turned around. Made a left onto No Name Road,
then a right onto Greentree Road. Turn right onto Hurffville Road
then made the hard right on Hurffville Grenloch Road. (back on
section 3) Make a left onto Woodbury Turnersvillw Road, Right
onto Park and a left onto Eastview Drive. I turned right onto
Central and a left onto Linden Street which led back to the Gloucester
Township Health and Fitness Trail. Made a right onto Lakeland,
a right onto Oakwood, left on Woodland and finally a left on Melrose.
This took me into many areas I had biked before, but also did
about a third of the miles in Washington Township which was new
for me. The pictures above are from the Washington Township loop.
Overall todays biking adventure covered 21.1 miles. Very happy
with this performance after having a couple of days off.
